New Album from Charan-Po-Rantan

Charan-Po-Rantan, an alternative chanson duo, will release a new album on December 3rd. Titled Théâtre Théâtre, it includes twelve songs and will be available in two different types. It's the duo's first full-length album since joining Avex, one of major record labels in Japan.

Charan-Po-Rantan was formed by two sisters; vocalist Momo and accordion player Koharu, at their home in 2009. Their music is unique, with an atmosphere like a fairy tale world, but it also contains vivid, almost poisonous elements.

They have already uploaded a number of videos to YouTube, and we'd like to introduce two music videos in particular. The first video is a cover song, but it offers a clear introduction to their sound. The video will be included on the CD+DVD edition of the album. The second is an original and reminiscent of circus music - the song will be included on the CD for both editions.
