New Unit from Kis-My-Ft2 Members to Debut

Popular Johnny's Entertainment boyband Kis-My-Ft2 have announced the debut of a new unit.

Kis-My-Ft2 consists of seven members, which unfortunately leads to some members being pushed to the front and others being frequently left in the background.

To combat this, a new unit consisting of Miyata Toshiya, Yokoo Wataru, Senga Kento and Nikaido Takashi called BUSAIKU (written with the kanji "dance festival group", but pronounced the same as "ugly") has been formed. The name BUSAIKU stems from their variety show "Kisumai BUSAIKU", which sees the members compete at various challenges before being ranked by a panel of women who are not fans in order of coolest to "Busaiku" based on their performance.

BUSAIKU will release a single called Tana kara botamochi on December 13th. It was composed by SMAP's Nakai Masahiro and will be available in three editions. The limited Type A will come with a bonus DVD featuring the PV and making-of for the title track, while the regular edition and limited Type B will both be CD-only, with the Type B being a special lower-priced version.
