At the end of 2012, popular visual kei band
SuG left the label PS COMPANY and
went on hiatus. Over half a year later, the band is back.
On August 18th,
SuG launched a new
official website, on which they presented a new image and some news about their future activities.
The activities mostly focus on vocalist
Takeru's solo work. This three-stage project, called
uwakimono (cheater), starts on November 20th with the release of a mini-album titled
I kyou U.
The next stage is solo concert. It will take place at Yoyogi Kyougijou Daini Taikukan on December 29th. This is on the same day and at the same venue where
SuG's last live before going on hiatus took place.
The third stage is the possibility of collaboration with
Takeru, given to any kind of artists, professional or amateur, specialized in not only music but also in design or fashion. Willing participants can fill in
this form, explaining how they might collaborate with
Takeru.
It is hoped that news regarding
SuG's return to activity as a full band will soon be announced. Their last original release, the single
sweeToxic, went on sale over a year ago. You can view the PV for this single below:
