Punk band DETRIOTSEVEN (formerly detroit7) have revealed that their vocalist and guitarist Nabana Tomomi will perform on a new song by veteran british punk band The Vibrators.

The Vibrators are currently recording a new album, set for release in early 2013, and have invited many artists to contribute to the record, including Brian James from The Damned and Hugh Cornwell from The Stranglers. Nabana is the only Japanese artist asked to appear on the album and will provide guitar and backing vocals for the song Turn up the Heat. A release date has yet to be confirmed for the album.

DETRIOTSEVEN formed in 2001 and have gained popularity both at home and overseas touring with Japanese artists such as Go!Go!7188 and Shonen Knife, and international artists including Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Blur's Graham Coxon. They have performed extensively overseas, including performances at SXSW, America's Japan Nite Tour and the band's Black & White World Tour, which took them to thirty-one cities across Europe.
