Instrumental band SPECIAL OTHERS have announced various released to be made available worldwide through iTunes.
The band formed in 1995 at high school, and their music career began to take off in 2000. Their first major Mini-album was released through Victor Entertainment in 2006. SPECIAL OTHERS' influences range from improvised jazz to post-rock and they have performed at major Japanese festivals swuch as Fuji Rock Festival and Summer Sonic. In 2011 they collaborated with several well-known Japanese artists, including Kiyosaku from MONGOL800 and kj from Dragon Ash.
Five full-length albums and three mini-albums from the band's catalogue will be released through iTunes. There will also be an exclusive worldwide release of the group's new single beautiful world, which is not currently set for release in Japan.
