Moi dix Mois to Perform at Sakura-Con

Following the announcement of STEREOPONY and Kanon Wakeshima, anime convention Sakura-Con has added yet another big name to its list of musical guests.

Moi dix Mois, the project of former Malice Mizer guitarist Mana, will perform live at the convention and will also hold a Q&A panel. The exact date and time for these events are currently unknown, but are expected to be revealed soon through Sakura-Con's official website. The convention will take place from April 6th-8th at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.

The music of Moi dix Mois combines modern elements like gothic rock and metal with classical music and deep operatic vocals for a sound which is dark and powerful, but at the same time melodious.

Mana has contributed to the world of anime through his former protégé, Kanon Wakeshima, for whom he wrote the singles Still doll and Suna no Oshiro, amongst others. Both of these songs were used as theme songs for the anime series "Vampire Knight".
