Since their formation, PIA have managed to secure themselves a prime positon in the Korean rock scene with alliances from artists such as Seo Taiji and Linkin Park. Their music has varied from album to album, from nu-metal to emo the band is continually changing their sound while maintaining a distinct sound which is recognised as being "PIA".

While the band is reasonably widely recognised within their home country, the band has now set their sights on the rest of Asia and maybe even the world.
