A young rapper, Hideyoshi is a member of the up-and-coming collective Tokyo Young Vision. His work is heavily influenced by punk, rock and alternative music, with emotional, often rather gloomy lyrics, which has led to it often being categorized as “emo rap”, although he is reluctant to limit it to that label.
Hideyoshi released his first EP Never Be the Same in 2018, and he was featured on tracks by well-known artists such as AK-69 and SKY-HI soon after. He released his first solo mixtape Dead End Adventure in January 2020.
