Dance-pop supergroup ALTIMA was formed in 2010 by m.o.v.e. rapper motsu, fripSide composer Yaginuma Satoshi and then-newcomer Kurosaki Maon. Like the members' other projects, the trio were heavily involved in the "anison" genre, and they produced theme songs for the "Shakugan no SHANA" and "Accel World" franchises. Musically, ALTIMA took their cues from legendary trio globe, mixing EDM with Kurosaki's Japanese vocals and motsu's English rapping.
