Nothing's Carved In Stone

Nothing’s Carved In Stone is an alternative rock band formed by ELLEGARDEN guitarist Shinichi Ubukata in 2008. The band’s sound is best described as a combination of technical exploration and mainstream pop-rock.

The majority of the band’s lyrics are in English, dealing with serious topics such as relationships, change and the passing of time. However, the members maintain a cheerful, energetic atmosphere during their live performances that keeps the music from becoming rigid or pretentious.

Also, following their major debut, many of their songs were selected to be themes to popular anime series, such as "Kingdom" and "PSYCHO-PASS", which has earned them some international exposure.
