Base Ball Bear is a popular rock band from Tokyo. Officially it was founded in 2002, but the members actually started to perform during the fall of the previous year. Their music is influenced by Japanese indie bands Number Girl and Supercar and British rock band Oasis. The lyrics are full of nostalgia because the leader Yusuke Koide writes mostly about teens’ problems and his own experiences.
