MONO are a post-rock band mostly active outside their home country. Their endless songs and fragile melody webs bring to mind some of the genre giants like Sigur Rós, Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Mogwai. However, they still manage to add their own touch using classical elements. On a side note, no other than Steve Albini (who has worked with the Pixies, Melt-Banana, Nirvana and Mogwai) is in charge of recording and mixing.

MONO have found fanbases in Japan and America as well as in Europe and Korea and is highly recommendable for fans of post-rock and bands like Pelican or world's end girlfriend.
