Photo Gallery: Ladybeard at Metal Matsuri, London

The task of hosting the two-day Japanese heavy metal festival Metal Matsuri was given to the all-singing, all-dancing, cross-dressing, wrestling, celebrity Ladybeard. As well as introducing each act with his usual wit and tireless enthusiasm, he put on a DJ set at the VIP event the night before the festival, which resulted in some impromptu karaoke from the festival’s stars, and even one band member being hoisted aloft as Ladybeard showed off his wrestling moves. Our photographer was at Metal Matsuri to capture some shots of the host in action.
