On October 9th, MIYAVI held the final show of MIYAVI Japan Tour 2014 "GET REAL".

The lights went out and the audience cheered, clapping their hands. Drums rumbled and MIYAVI appeared from the right. He played the guitar and shouted the song title loudly.

"Set It On Fire!"

It was a new song from the latest single "REAL?", out on September 9th. The stage and hall were tinged with orange and red lights. The audience raised their hands with full strength and MIYAVI played the guitar with all his might.

"What's up, Tokyo? Are you ready? Will you dance with me?"

Once he asked the questions, Horizon began. Blue light coloured the hall and the audience danced and jumped to the danceable electro sounds. MIYAVI went to the runway and performed a guitar solo. The audience went wild with excitement. After he finished the song, he addressed the audience again.

"What's up, Tokyo? Through MIYAVI Japan Tour 2014 "GET REAL", I came back to Tokyo. On this tour, I could hold three shows. Are you having fun? Feel my beat. Are you ready?"

Then, Secret started. The audience yelled for MIYAVI's sexy performance. His tasteful steps were reminiscent of Michael Jackson’s. The dimming of stage lights signalled a transition and Chase It kicked off with refreshing guitar play. During Universe, the audience cheered in response to MIYAVI's call. For Torture, a stroke of the guitar brought the keyboard sounds crashing down upon the piano melody. Aqua and purple lights filled the hall, and MIYAVI's voice spread throughout the venue. Next up was I Love You, I Love You, I Love You, And I Hate You. Melodic guitar was played repeatedly and the audience moved their hands while bathing in red light. After the song ended, MIYAVI spoke to the audience again.

"Tokyo, it's amazing. Are you having fun? Let me introduce the band members. On the drums, BOBO, and on the keyboard, Elena K. She appeared in the music video of REAL?. Well, after the previous world tour, I moved to Los Angeles. I've got jet lag now. Although I could hold only three shows for this Japan tour, I'm happy to come back to Tokyo."

Pleasure then began, a hint of nostalgia in it. The audience clapped their hands for Elena K's solo. MIYAVI held a call and response session, during which the audience yelled “Yeah!” in response to his calls of "Everybody, say yeah!" The audience cheered wildly in excitement. The next song was Guard You. MIYAVI’s calm and tender guitar had a jazzy feeling. Blue light blanketed the stage and hall. The audience listened to the song in silence and MIYAVI sang the song affectionately. The last performance had a touch of Latin flavour to it. With a "Thank you", MIYAVI concluded the song to a storm of applause.

Cry Like This came next. This is a danceable song too. The audience waved their hands left and right, mirroring MIYAVI’s body movements. Happiness filled the hall. Next on the set list was No One Knows My Name. Blue light filled the hall, the audience jumping with the beat. MIYAVI dashed to the runway, arched his body backward and played the guitar, firing up the audience’s excitement further. For What's My Name, MIYAVI executed some footwork splendidly and performed a guitar solo on the runway. The audience looked at him dreamily, raising their hands and jumping joyfully.

Excitement can never stop; MIYAVI performed Survive, Ahead Of The Light and Day 1 consecutively. After those songs, the last song of the main set was played. It was Real?, the title track of his latest single. MIYAVI called out to the audience, and they answered by singing the song with him. The fans were excited by his funky performance, and they answered his call of "Get real?" Then, the mirror ball sent starry lights sparkling throughout the hall. Glittery tapes shot out from the stage, the audience cheering and yelling. At the height of audience's excitement, the song ended. MIYAVI expressed his gratitude.

"I'm MIYAVI. Thank you."

After he had gone from the stage, the audience waited and called for an encore with shouts of "MIYAVI, BOBO." MIYAVI responded and returned to the stage.

"Are you having fun? We’re tired, aren't we? Are you who is at the back having fun? Well, I’ll say the same thing again: I'm happy you came here. There is no cooler audience than you guys. Thank you. This summer, I went to Los Angeles and came back, so the crazy times are over. I have various feelings. I don't want to lose; I want to go forward. I have worries, I'm afraid and ... I don't know what US people say. This is my inspiration, but I guess I was led to go forward, to walk further. I had a lot of turning points in my life. There were changed and unchanged things. But I'll imagine a big future. I want to challenge myself more. I don't know what will happen in the future, but please keep supporting me. So, I'll play a fitting song for me now. I want you to listen to it."

Once SUBARA SHIKIKANA KONO SEKAI –WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD- began, a part of the audience yelled happily. Fans who have followed MIYAVI since his earlier days would remember that it was released in 2007. The lyrics of this song are about how the guitarist respectfully keeps in mind the precious things he learnt from pioneer visual kei bands, but goes his own way without any fixed ideas or styles of visual kei. Is this his expression of determination? The audience listened calmly to it. After the song concluded, he called out to the audience, "Are you ready?"

Strong began. He played the guitar wildly on the runway, and became one with the audience once again with another call and response session. At the last part of the song, he was overcome with emotion and fell to his knees on the runway. The final song of the night Free World then began. Each time MIYAVI repeated "It's okay" from the lyrics, the hall's fervour rose more and more. The audience waved their hands continuously and brilliant lights filled the hall.

"Thank you, Tokyo!" MIYAVI shouted. "All together now!" With that, the audience and him jumped at the same time. "This is MIYAVI. Thank you. I love you!"

At last, MIYAVI, BOBO and Elena K went to the runway and bowed to the audience. Applause thundered throughout the hall. MIYAVI touched the hands of some fans in the front rows, enjoying the communication with his fans. He bowed again and again, and asked the audience, "Okay, can I take a picture with you? Let's send our love around the world!"

He took a picture with BOBO and Elena K with their backs facing the audience. He bowed again, waved and left the stage to much applause.
