tezya

tezya’s music career began with the band Grace ModE back in 1992. In 1994 tezya took part in the recording of Euphoria, a solo album of the famous Japanese guitarist Fumihiko Kitsutaka. That release featured tezya’s lyrics written specially for this session project. Those two became good friends and still perform together from time to time.

Since 1995, tezya has been a vocalist for bands such as FiX and ATOMIC ZaZa – both projects were created by D’ERLANGER's bassist Seela. While recording for FiX, these two musicians collaborated with the keyboardist of GUNS N’ROSES. In 2001 tezya became a vocalist of MeGAROPA. Since 2007, he has been performing as a solo artist together with his support band the sightz.

tezya released his first solo album LIFE MY BABYLON on September 23, 2010. This album clearly shows how greatly he is influenced by 80’s UK music. As a composer and a singer he did his best to express his unique worldview and thus managed to create a bunch of very interesting songs. They are the perfect example of “Future Glamorous Rock 'n' Roll” that will draw you away into tezya’s world. Moreover, for this album, tezya collaborated with his close friends such as SUGIZO from LUNA SEA and ASAKI from AGE OF PUNK, whom tezya calls his soul mate and respects greatly.

In 2011 tezya became a host of "RAINBOW ROCK SHOW" on Japanese online television Odoroku.Tv, where special guests like 8-eit, SEX ANDROID and S.Q.F have already performed.
