Siva was formed in February 2005 by the vocalist Kairi (ex-Vishnu), guitarists Iori (ex-Phobia, ex-Lamiel and ex-Blast) and Yuuichi (know earlier as Yuu, ex-EllDorado), drummer Karuto and bassist Cell (ex-Alc〈αA〉dia). The following month, the band held their first live on March 17th at the Nagoya Quatro. They distributed their first single, Beautiful Drug, during a live performed the following month. At the end of November, the band performed at an event for the UNDER CODE PRODUCTION label, which they joined that same day.

In 2006, Siva participated in many events and on April 12th they released their two first maxi-singles, Shita no Koku and Kyouka Kenraki. The band continued with some concerts and after a short time they participated in an UNDER CODE omnibus DVD, which included two songs from the band's first performance with UNDER CODE. Finally, in September, the band released their first mini-album, Asura, which included a DVD with their first PV.

Sadly, their drummer Karuto left the band one week after the release of the mini-album. However, the band didn't let that stop them and they continued to perform, but now with a support drummer, Aki. They finished the year with the participation in the two-day Christmas event for UNDER CODE, however once again they lost their drummer.

Once again the band found a new support drummer in 2007, this time was Kiri (ex-Mareydi+Creia, ex-Alc〈αA〉dia and ex-Rhyme). The band began the year the same as the previous, with many lives. In April Kiri became in the official drummer and the band announced the release of three new singles. In the following months, the band was included on some omnibuses albums and released the previously announced singles in three consecutive months starting in June. The band finished the year with quite the busy schedule having more lives and even participated in the tribute album for Phantasmagoria.

Siva is starting strong in 2008 with a new single to be released in February and a best-of in March. Even though this is a young band, they are definitely worth keeping an eye out for.
