In 2000, PE'’Z started having many street performances simultaneously in Shibuya and Tokyo twice a week. These shows attracted all generations, frequently with large crowds. By the end of the year, they landed a sold-out show at the Shibuya Nest.

The following year, the band released their first mini-album pe'z in February and just a week after its release, they ranked No.1 on the indies charts. They also performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '01, one of the biggest music events in Asia alongside artists such as Neil Young, Alanis Morissette and Eminem. Later that year, PE’'Z was asked to create the theme songs for the radio program TIME FOR BRUNCH on Japan's radio station J-WAVE in October. These songs were used to create their third mini-album, OKOKOROIRE.

In 2002, after signing with major record company Toshiba EMI, their first major mini-album, Akatsuki, was released. In summer, along with a new release, they also played at ten big outdoor music festivals all over Japan, including the NEWPORT JAZZ FESTIVAL '02 and Rising Sun Rock Festival. By fall, the band went on their first tour that consisted of fourteen concerts all over Japan, all of which were sold out.

In early 2003, PE'Z received an award for New Artist of the Year at the 17th annual Japan Golden Disc Awards in March. Later that year, they performed at twelve different venues for their first Jazz Club Tour Cookin' Up Melozzy Night -Taiji-. Keyboardist Hiizumi Masayuki collaborated with Shéna Ringö in an all-Japan tour before the band went on their own winter tour to wrap up the year.

In January 2004, the band performed their first overseas street concert in Seoul, Korea. Following their first Korean release of their remix album, PE'Z COLOR VOL. 1, PE’'Z performed at the Mesa Pop Con in Seoul. Showing more of their success, they appeared in over ten major summer music festivals and events, including FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 04 and Jounetsu Tairiku SPECIAL LIVE. Later that year, they made their first appearance in an overseas music festival at the 2004 ETP FESTIVAL which was held at the Olympic Soccer Stadium in Korea.

2005 began with their first street concert in four years in January. PE’'Z then began to hold their first regular radio program, Sessions 4 on FM NORTH WAVE in Hokkaido. During their tour PE’'Z REALIVE TOUR 2005 SPRING – Tenonaruhohe-, they performed forty five times in thirty one venues all across the nation. In July, they performed the final concert of the tour at Dom Art Hall in Seoul.

PE’'Z began performances in Europe starting with an appearance in in the city in British Manchester on October 3rd and then a performance in London on October 5th. They performed with the world-famous singer Cyndi Lauper in the TV program CX 'our music 2', which was broadcast on November 19th.

The following year, PE’'Z appeared on the stage of the CMW Festival on in Tront on March 2nd and SXSW in the USA on March 18th. They went on their first US tour of nine performances, which started in New York on March 20th.The group had a tour through all of Japan called PE'Z REALIVE TOUR 2006 Spring -Anata no Asu ni Tsukare o Nokosanai Tame ni which consisted of twenty four performances in eighteen venues and started on April 16th. In July, they released their first cover album, NIPPON-NO-JAZZ -SAMURAI SPIRIT-. PE’'Z also released the first part of their second DVD KIZASHI Chapter 2 -Jyugoshounenhyouryuuki-. They performed at numerous outdoor festivals all over Japan, including Summer Sonic 2006.

By 2007, PE'Z was busy touring throughout the spring, performing at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL in July. By fall, the band was back on the road and finished out the year on stages across Japan, while releasing another cover album CD. The following two years were the quietest in the PE'Z's history. The only toured for two months each year, and had no releases aside from a live DVD. However, by 2010, PE'Z cranked up the noise and hit the road again around Japan to perform, selling out a majority of their shows on the EN-MUSUBI tour, and released a new album, 1, 2, Max and a live DVD.

2011 already looks promising for PE'Z, with plans to perform at MOSAIC MUSIC FESTIVAL and an announcement about their full 2011 tour which currently has 25 stops. Fans can be sure that next year will be as busy as those many years past.
