Hagakure was formed in June 2004 by Kaya, former vocalist of le'miu, and the former DIAR guitarist, Rin. The band was completed by some support members.
However, after a while, the band members decided that they didn't want to continue it anymore, and Kaya had to choose between disbanding or continuing the band on his own.

Of course, he opted for the latter and started the struggle of a solo-career.
The support members changed quite often, but then settled on the following support members are: Junichi (also in the band Plasmajet on guitar, Mako on bass, Mitsuki on keyboards and Gajiro (also former le'miu) on drums. Kaya also thinks of his fans as part of the band too.

Their first release was in May 2005, a single containing one track, which was distributed during one of their live concerts.

In April 2006, Hagakure headed towards Europe for a short tour in Sweden and Germany. Shortly before this tour, the mini-album Tenkahubu was released.

In January 2007, the band returned to Europe again, this time with the the punk band of Kaya's friend Kenzi: ANTI FEMINISM. They toured for two weeks in six countries and during this tour they sold their newest mini-album: Fuurinkazan.
The line-up had been changed again: Koro played guitar now and Leona bass.

Especially for the tour, Anti Feminism and Hagakure had released a live coupling DVD.

Kaya already has some big plans for the future, and there have been mentions of a PV release and a full album! We can only wait impatiently for their release!
