Have a nice day

SERIAL⇔NUMBER

Over the years, SERIAL⇔NUMBER had some rough times with an influx of old and new members, as well as a slow but steady stream of releases. While it might be a release from late 2009, for nostalgia’s sake, hearing this single track over three years later is refreshing.

Have a nice day was released in November 2009. The one song was initially distributed digitally through various outlets like recochoku, dwango.jp and iTunes, etc., but was included on SERIAL⇔NUMBER's 2010 album, Kanjou Bunretsu almost a year later.

Every word Sasaki Jin sings throughout Have a nice day is a continuous ride of excitement. The lyrics are entertaining and fairly quirky with onomatopoeia like “nyoro nyoro” and “gyoro gyoro” being used with the sound of blowing a kiss. SERIAL⇔NUMBER, though a quirky corner of the visual kei world, the members segued into rock in this track. A fun, bubbly guitar bounces in the background, and it’s hard not to crack a smile after listening to the track. Every “have a nice day” (or alternatively, “have a nice desu”) in the chorus is genuine as if the members are saying directly to the listener: “have a nice day today!”

Since Have a nice day was included on SERIAL⇔NUMBER‘s most recent album to date, Kanjou Bunretsu, it’s only telling of how crazy Kanjou Bunretsu will sound.

So readers, have a nice day!
