Acid Black Cherry will release their second full-length album, currently untitled, on August 26th. The album will feature their latest singles - 20＋∞Century Boys, Jigsaw, Nemuri hime and the upcoming Yasashii uso, set to go on sale on July 29th. Like their first album BLACK LIST, it will be available in three versions, each with a different jacket cover.
The regular edition of the album will come with the CD only, plus a 42-page booklet, while the other two versions will come with a DVD. The first one will include the music videos for all four singles, as well as alternate versions, plus off-shot footage and also an interview with yasu. The other version will feature footage from Acid Black Cherry's concert held at LIQUIDROOM ebisu on March 4th with a total of nine tracks, plus footage from the album's creation with narration by Hiroaki Asai over 70 minutes.

In addition to their upcoming single Ichigo, set to go on sale on July 29th, duo Yuzu will also release a new album at some point in the next few months. Although it does not have an exact release date yet, the album, titled FURUSATO, is expected to include their most recent singles, Yesterday and Tomorrow, Shish Kebab and Aitai, plus Ichigo.

Titled Tour 2009 「END OF sorosoro」, this three-date tour will kick off on September 2nd at Osaka Big cat and will end with two consecutive shows at Shin Kiba Studio Coast on September 5th and 6th.
The band will also release a new album on August 26th, entitled 10, which will be available in both CD and CD+DVD formats. Further information and details on this release are yet to be revealed.

HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR announced their first release with their new vocalist, HALCA. swamp man, a new album, will be released on September 2nd with 10 tracks in total and will mark the beginning of the band's second chapter, this time moving more into a heavier style.

KinKi Kids member Domoto Koichi will release his first single in approximately three years on July 29th. THE ALFEE member Toshihiko Takamizawa announced the release of a new double A-side solo single titled VAMPIRE ~yuuwaku no Blood~/Yatterman no uta for August 12th. VAMPIRE ~yuuwaku no Blood~ will used as the theme song for the PSP RPG game "Yuusha 30", while Yatterman no uta is currently being used as the opening theme song for NHK's anime "Yatterman".
The single will be released in three different versions, each coming with a different jacket. Type A will include a metal arrangement version of Hebimeta Vacation, type B will come with Makka na Uso and type C will feature a cover of THE ALFEE's Higeki jutai 2009.

B'z gave more information regarding their upcoming single, set to come out on August 5th. Titled Ichibuto Zenbu/DIVE, the single, their first of 2009, will feature the two title tracks as well as the third track National Holiday, previously used as the ending SE during their 2008 tour B'z LIVE-GYM 2008"ACTION". Reviews: We are looking for someone who listens to a variety of music and can write a minimum of two reviews a month. Be aware that you may be asked to review something for promotional purposes, so you won't always be able to write about bands you like. Please also send in a writing sample.

Girl group MAX will release a new single, Rough Cut Diamond, on July 29th. Used as the theme song for the Tokyo TV drama "Kariyushi Sensei Chibaru", the single will include the title track, the b-side The Power Of Love and both songs' instrumental counterparts, and its limited edition will also come with the PV of Rough-cut Diamond, plus off-shot material.
The group also has an upcoming live DVD, due to come out on August 5th. Tentatively titled as MAX PRESENTS LIVE CONTACT 2009 "NEW EDITION", the DVD will contain footage from their sold-out concert held at Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall on January 31st, including fan favorites and hit songs.

Eikichi Yazawa has planned the release of his first original album in four years for August 5th. Titled ROCK'N'ROLL, the album, the successor of ONLY ONE, is expected to include his most recent singles, Cobalt no sora and Loser.
Furthermore, Eikichi Yazawa will embark on a long nationwide tour following his concert at Tokyo Dome on September 19th. Titled EIKICHI YAZAWA CONCERT TOUR 2009 ROCK'N'ROLL, the tour, consisting of 29 dates, will kick off at Niigata Kenmin Bunka on October 30th and finish with five consecutive lives at Nippon Budokan from December 16th to 21st.

Rock band NICO Touches the Walls will release a new single on August 12th, titled Hologram, to be used as the upcoming opening theme for the anime "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood". The single will also include two other songs, Fuujin, which will be used as the theme song for the movie "Kanikousen", and Aitai kimochi. Its limited edition will also come with a DVD including the PV for Hologram, a 90-second Fullmetal Alchemist music video edition of the song and also the TV-spot for the anime.

Yuma Nakayama with B.I.Shadow., a new Johnny's group of five members, announced the release of their debut single, Akuma na koi/NYC, for July 15th. The single will feature a special unit formed together with Ryosuke Yamada and Yuri Chinen (from Hey!Say!JUMP) called NYC boys, who will be responsible for the track NYC, and will be available in three versions. Limited edition A will come with the PV and making-of for Akuma na koi and limited edition B will come with the PV and making-of for NYC. The regular edition will include both title tracks' instrumental counterparts and a third song called I can catch the moon.
Both Akuma na koi and NYC will also be used as tie-in songs: the former will serve as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama "Koishite Akuma ~Vampire☆Boy~, in which Yuma Nakayama stars as a vampire named Ruka, while the latter will be the image song to the upcoming Volleyball World Grand Prix 2009 tournament.

Although the band have confirmed that they came to this conclusion due to members' circumstances, they have not revealed the exact reason behind this decisison. NICE GIRL Project! group MM Gakuen Gasshobu have announced the release of their upcoming untitled single for July 15th. Although there is little other information currently available, it is known that the title track will be used as the ending song for the anime "Gokujou!! Mecha Mote Iinchou".
The single will be issued in a regular and limited edition, with the latter including an original card. The Single V will be released at a later date on July 22nd and is expected to feature bonus making-of footage.

Kinniku Shoujo Tai (otherwise known as KING-SHOW) will reissue eight of their albums over the next three months to commemorate their 20th anniversary. The campaign will be kickstarted with the release of Buddha L and SISTER STRAWBERRY on July 22nd, with all of the albums being remastered and coming housed in a cardboard sleeve. The first press will include an application card and those that buy it should be aware that this is only valid within Japan.

Asai Kenichi (SHERBETS, ex-BLANKEY JET CITY) announced the release of a new solo single for July 22nd. FRIENDLY will feature three songs in total: the title track, described as an acoustic and folksy tune, the b-side Bad Strawberries and SPRING SNOW, included in the soundtrack of the movie "Crows ZERO II".
The regular edition of the single will also include an additional track titled SENSATIONAL ATTACK, while the limited edition will come with a 6 inch action figure of Asai Kenichi produced by the brand "occupy" for the "Japan Artist Figure" series.

After celebrating their 10th anniversary, releasing the albums ISOLATION and PURPLE and expanding activities with the solo projects NINI TOUNUMA and Tentosen in 2008, Spangle call Lilli line will now release a new live DVD+Photobook on August 5th.
Titled SCLL LIVE, the DVD will feature footage from their sold-out 10th anniversary concert held at Shibuya DUO music exchange on January 31st, while the photobook will consist of 84 pages including pictures taken by Sasahara Kiyoaki, who is also a member of the band.

Having just released the single Ano kaze ni notte on May 27th, pez'moku have already planned the release of their first full-length album for July 1st. pez'moku Daisakusen will include the singles Harukaze, Ano kaze ni notte and the songs Galop and Aojiroi machi, which were both released on the band's first mini-albums. THE BACK HORN announced the release of a new double-disc live DVD for July 22nd titled Souzou no Pulse. The first disc of the DVD will feature footage from the last concert of the band's newest tour, KYOMEI Tour ~souzou no pulse~, held at JCB Hall on April 29th with a total of 18 songs over 104 minutes. The second disc will contain a documentary and more live footage from the same tour, which started at Chiba LOOK on October 9th 2008, and consisted of 52 dates.

Less than a year after the release of their last album Prime Garden, doa have already announced the release of a new album for August 12th. Titled FRONTIER, the disc will feature 13 songs in total, including their latest single 365 no Diamond, which was released in January. All songs were composed and arranged by vocalist and bassist Akihito Tokunaga and lyrics were written by all three members.
In addition, the same month, the trio will also embark on a new nationwide tour titled LIVE Tour 2009 FRONTIER. Consisting of 14 dates, it will kick off at Fukuoka DRUM-Be 1 on the 26th and will end at Zepp Osaka two months later, on October 25th.
