Aqua Timez to Release New Single

Rock band Aqua Timez will release their upcoming single Tsubomi on August 22nd.

The band released their fourteenth single MASK earlier in the year, and managed to peak at number ten on the Weekly Oricon Chart. The new single Tsubomi will be used as the theme song for the forthcoming drama "Ghost Mama Sousasen~Boku to Mama no Fushigi na 100-nichi" which is scheduled to air in Japan from the July 7th. Aqua Timez previously provided the track Niji as the theme song for the drama "Gokusen" in 2008, which earned the band the number two ranking on the Oricon at the time of its release.

Tsubomi is expected to include four tracks, two of which are currently untitled.
