GO!GO!7188 to Disband

Punk-rock band GO!GO!7188 have announced that they are to disband.

GO!GO!7188 have been active since 1998 and have previously performed in the US, as well as holding a one-man concert at the legendary Nippon Budokan. The reason for their disbandment is the withdrawal of guitarist and vocalist Yuu, who has decided to leave the band after feeling that although GO!GO!7188 was still growing, she had reached the limit of what she was able to do for the band. As the remaining two members felt unable to continue as GO!GO!7188 without Yuu, the decision to disband was reached.
