Details on L'Arc~en~Ciel's Upcoming Album

Popular rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel recently announced the release of a new album, though little information was available at the time.

It has now been revealed that the new album will be titled BUTTERFLY and will be released on February 8th. It will be L'Arc~en~Ciel's twelfth album and their first in over four years. It will include seven singles from DRINK IT DOWN to their newest single CHASE.

The limited version of this album will be a 2CD+DVD edition and will include as its bonus CD the first album of L'Arc~en~Ciel's alter ego band P'UNK~EN~CIEL, which is titled P'UNK IS NOT DEAD. The additional DVD will contain the special program "Best Hit LEC", commemorating the band's 20th anniversary.

In addition to this, it has also been announced that vocalist HYDE will release his autobiography on January 29th. Titled THE HYDE, the singer will reveal key facts about his life and details of L'Arc~en~Ciel's formation, for a total of 26 chapters and 192 pages.
