AKB48's Maeda Atsuko Makes Her Solo Debut

AKB48's Maeda Atsuko will make her solo debut with the single Flower on June 22nd.

The decision for the idol's debut comes following the inclusion of Flower and her role in the upcoming movie "Moshi Koukou Yakyuu no Joshi Manager ga Drucker no "Management" wo Yondara" which will open to the Japanese public on June 4th.

The announcement was made on April 23rd at Nagoya Dome during an AKB48 handshake event for the idol group's twentieth single Sakura no ki ni narou. The title track for Maeda's single is said to be a "slow ballad" and further information regarding the coupling tracks and DVD content will be announced in the near future.
