Legendary rock band THE ALFEE will release a new single on May 3rd. Originally the single was planned to drop on March 30th, but due to the Tohoku earthquake, the release was postponed until May. All proceeds from the single's digital sales, as well as a portion of the ticket sales from the bands' most recent tour, will go to the victims of the earthquake.

Let It Go, as the new single is called, will be their 60th single since the start of the band in 1974. It will be their first release in a little over a year, as their previous release was the album Shinseikai - Neo Universe in March 2010.

The single will be available in three different editions, each with a total of four tracks. Each single will have a different cover and a different third song. Just like various other songs of THE ALFEE, the title track was used as the image song for the Osaka International Ladies Marathon. The B-side Boukenshatachi -Beyond the Adventure will also be used as a sports event theme song, namely the Triathlon World Championship Series in Yokohama.
