Visual kei band vistlip was involved in a serious car accident in the early hours of this morning while on their way home from a live in Kanazawa city.

The band was reported to have been driving along Nagae Tunnel down the Joushin'etsu Expressway in Nagano city, Nagano prefecture, when vocalist Tomo’s car crashed into the tunnel wall at approximately 1:15am. It was reported that there were eight passengers on board, including the band members.

The band’s manager, Asako Sakakibara, aged 31, had been in the back seat when the car crashed. The impact forced her out of the car and, sadly, her injuries were fatal. According to highway police, the rest of the passengers sustained only minor neck and arm injuries and no other fatalities have been reported.
