Shinsengumi Lien's Debut Album

Male idol unit Shinsengumi Lien will release their debut album, entitled Joukyou monogatari, on September 1st.

Shinsengumi Lien was formed as part of a project for Nihon Television's variety show "Jinsei wa kawaru ippunkan no fuka ii hanashi". Shimada Shinsuke, a well-known comedian, formed the idol development project "Heisei no Shinsengumi Project" in an attempt to regain popularity within the local Kyoto sightseeing community. From the 2,518 applicants, five members were selected and announced on the show on July 27th last year. Along with their general entertainment activities, Shinsengumi Lien also participate in Kyoto student festivals and once a month they participate in a patrol around the city of Kyoto.

Joukyou monogatari will be issued in CD and CD+DVD formats and will include the previously released tracks Otokomichi, Honto ni boku de iin desu ka and Ai no uta. The DVD will include special footage which has yet to be specified.
