Pop/Rock group TOKIO have announced the upcoming release of their latest single -Haruka- for June 16th.

TOKIO are a well-known group under the talent agency Johnny & Associates, which is also known for producing such groups as SMAP and Arashi amongst others. -Haruka- will be composed by TUBE members Maeda Nobuteru and Haruhata Michiya, who are responsible for several compositions under their PIPELINE PROJECT alias. -Haruka- will be used as the theme song for Nippon TV's "The! Tetsuwan! DASH!!/DASH Kaigan" variety show which features TOKIO.

The single will be issued in CD and two CD+DVD formats and the title track is said to be a 'mid-tempo number with gentle lyrics'. The CD version will feature five tracks in total, while the CD+DVD versions will both feature a music video and making-of footage.
