Guitarist/Singer-songwriter Ohata Yuichi has announced the upcoming release of his latest album Hikari wo egaku hito for April 7th.
The album will be Ohata's first since Music From The Magic Shop, which was released in September 2008. At the time the album was released, Music From The Magic Shop achieved relative acclaim and alike its predecessor, the upcoming album will be recorded and mastered in New York. Hikari wo egaku hito will be produced by Jesse Harris and Richard Julian and the former is best known for his work on Norah Jones' albums Come Away With Me and Feels Like Home.
The album will feature tracks such as Ima nara kitto, white noise and will also feature a cover of Harada Ikuko's Namima nite.
