Pop duo CHEMISTRY have scheduled the release of a new single, called Period, for January 27th 2010.

Period is the duo's first single since Ano hi... feat. Dohzi-T / Once Again, which came out in November. It has also been chosen as the new opening theme of the popular anime "Hagane no renkin jutsushi FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST". The song, an up-tempo number, also has lyrics written by vocalist Kaname Kawabata.

An extensive tour is also being planned for the first half of 2010. Consisting of thirty-four dates so far, it will kick off in Chiba on March 26th and end with two consecutive concerts at Tokyo Kokusai Forum Hall A on June 3rd and 4th.
