Shonen Knife Album

Vetean female punk-rock trio Shonen Knife have planned the release of a new album, titled Free Time, for January 6th.

Free Time is the band's first album since Super Group, which came out near the end of 2008. It will feature ten songs, including the digital singles Rock'n'roll Cake and the technopop number Capybara, plus P.Y.O., which included the collaboration of rock trio THE 50RPM's in the chorus. Perfect Freedom, another song from the album, is already available via iTunes.

A short promotional tour in Japan called Shonen Knife “Free Time” Release Party will take place two months after the release of the album. It will kick off at Shindaita FEVER, in Tokyo, on March 13th and end at Juuzou Fandango, in Osaka, on March 20th.
