Post-rock/shoegaze band sleepy.ab have announced that they will now go major via ROCKER ROOM, a sublabel of PONY CANYON, with the release of their newest album paratroop.

Formed in 1998, the band didn't start activities until 2003. Since then, they have built a good reputation in the underground circuit of Japan, having released five original albums so far. Aquarium, their latest release, was a digital single made available to purchase since May this year. An album version of this same song will be included on the CD and a sample of its original version can be heard on the discography section of their official website.

paratroop, besides Aquarium, will contain ten other songs and will have a special lower price until February 2010. Shortly prior to the release, the band will embark on a new nationwide promotional tour, starting at Koriyama CLUB #9 on November 11th and ending at Doshin Hall in Hokkaido, on January 30th 2010.
