Sugawara released her first song, Kimi ni okuru uta, as a digital single on the Recochoku website in April this year. Ano hi no yakusoku, described as a beautiful song mixing piano and string melodies, will be used as the theme song for the upcoming game "FINAL FANTASY XIII". It will come along with the up-tempo b-side Arigatou and the instrumental counterparts to both songs and also to Kimi ni okuru uta.
