Several artists are joining forces to release a special tribute album to experimental band Quruli on October 21st, simply titled Quruli Tribu~te.

Quruli was formed in 1996, but it was not until 1998 that they released their major debut single, Tokyo, via SPEEDSTAR, a sublabel of Victor Entertainment. Despite a few member changes during their career, the band, now a duo, has been consistently releasing music and creating various interesting collaborations. Throughout the years, they have also released several hit singles, including the very popular hit Bara no hana. They have just finished a successful new tour to promote their latest album Tamashii no yukue, including a performance at Nippon Budokan, for which the tickets quickly sold out.

Quruli Tribu~te will feature covers from sixteen artists, spanning various genres. Singers like Kimura Kaela, Okuda Tamio and Matsutouya Yumi are all expected to take part on the album, as well as rock bands 9mm Parabellum Bullet, andymori and MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS and electronic project Fantastic Plastic Machine. The first presses of the CD will come enclosed in a special package, including a postcard as a present.
