Asai Kenichi announced the release of his newest solo album for September 30th. Sphinx Rose, his first original album in two years, will feature his latest singles Mad Surfer, FRIENDLY and the "Crows ZERO II" movie theme song SPRING SNOW, with a total of 13 tracks. The limited edition of the album will come with a Blu-spec CD and a DVD with its own jacket, distinctive from the CD.

A few days later, he will also embark on a new national tour, titled Asai Kenichi 2009-2010 LIVE HOUSE TOUR [GOD MOTEL]. Kicking off in November with concerts at three CLUB QUATTRO live houses - Nagoya on the 7th, Osaka on the 8th and Tokyo on the 15th - the tour will cover 18 other places, ending at Fukuoka DRUM LOGOS on January 17th 2010.
