Kawamura Kaori Passes Away

Singer Kawamura Kaori passed away on July 28th from cancer, aged 38. Active as a solo artist and vocalist of Sorrow, she had recently restarted her solo career. Kawamura was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 and underwent surgery, but by 2008 the cancer had returned and spread to her lymph nodes, lungs and bones. Despite this, she continued with her busy schedule in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut. Kawamura Kaori was a dedicated musician and will be greatly missed.
