Following SMAP member Kusanagi Tsuyoshi's arrest last month for public indecency, prosecutors have chosen not to take the matter to court.

The idol will make his return to showbusiness with a recording on May 28th for the June 1st episode of ''SMAPxSMAP''. On the same day, Kusanagi will also record a segment for ''Bokura no Ongaku'', which will be aired the following day. On May 29th, he will make his first appearance on TV as a guest on the live broadcast of ''Waratte Iitomo!''.

Fuji TV has also revealed that Kusanagi was set to appear in the upcoming summer drama "Ninkyo Helper''. The idol will be portraying the role of a gangster who ends up aiding the elderly.
