Fashion model and musician Alexander Onizawa, also known as ALEX from ONE OK ROCK, was arrested on Sunday morning for groping.
In a police statement, they revealed that ALEX was on a train in Kawasaki, Kanagawa at 8am after reportedly having been drinking. He later admitted to charges of touching the leg of a 21-year-old female prep school student.
Due to these circumstances, ONE OK ROCK's new single Around the World Shonen, which was due for release on May 6th, has been suspended indefinitely. The same single was due to be featured as the theme to the series "God Hand Teru" but this will now be changed to another song. The band has also announced the cancellation of their Japanese tour, which was due to start today.
No details of ALEX's situation in the band have been announced yet but his agency says that decisions will be made once all the details of the incident have been revealed.
