Reggae artist Metis will release a new single on the fourth of July, called Kachofugetsu. Instead of the summerish upbeat reggae sound that her newest single Respect! contained, the title track of Kachofugetsu is a slower song though still showcasing Metis incredible vocal talent. The second track of the single, Minna SUMMER and will be the ending theme to the television show "Sekai - Fushigi Hakken".

Next up is the hip-hop duo HALCALI with the release of a new album on July 18th. The title doesn't seem to be sure, but the titles given out so far are Cyborg Oretachi and Drive My Dreams. The limited edition of the album will come with a DVD featuring five music videos of their latest singles plus the making of the video for It's PARTY TIME. The album features guest performances from RHYMESTER, Verbal (m-flo), Fantastic Plastic Machine, POLYSICS and more! Also note that the two girls will make their first appearance overseas at the Japan Expo in Paris, France in the first week of July.

Next up is the group EXILE who will release a new single on August 29th. The single will be called Toki no Kakera and for the second track the group has collaborated with Sowelu and Doberman Inc.. The single will come in two versions: a normal and a limited edition which will contain a bonus DVD.
