indies - disbanded (2005 - 2009)

Sugar was an indie band that used an elegant mix of rock, jazz and gothic in their compositions. Vocalist Loki's strong and deep voice made this band stand out among other visual kei bands. Sizna's trademark was his crazy stage performance that also allowed him to show off his incredible guitar skills. Bassist Koto was the silent, calm member showing his great concentration and talent during shows. The skillful drummer Atsuto had a fine technique and an air of mystery as his face was often covered in one way or another.

Combined, Sugar was a unique and creative band with a lot of passion for their work. Although they've now disbanded, their singular and imaginative music is definitely worth checking out!
