m-flo is a Japanese group that blends elements of electronic music, jazz and more with hip-hop. m-flo originally began as a trio with Taku Takahashi on turntables, rapper VERBAL and vocalist LISA. They've released many singles, remixes, and collaborations since their incarnation in 1998. LISA left the group in 2002 to pursue a solo career thus making m-flo a duo. Since then, Taku and VERBAL have continued to pilot m-flo to much popular success.
