Do As Infinity's music style cannot be classified in to a single genre. Each of the members add so many diverse influences to their songs that their music becomes a unique blend that only they can create.

Their music focuses mainly on rock, with varying styles from song to song. Their releases often include alternative style tracks as well as songs with strong jazz elements or even pop and R&B influences. Additionally, vocalist Tomiko has mentioned that she was musically inspired by Tina Turner and Sheryl Crow. It is this diversity and unique fusion of sounds and influence that has led the band to fame.

Little needs to be mentioned concerning their popularity. Do As Infinity was, and still is, one of Japan's biggest acts.
