Formed in 2005, abingdon boys school is a pop-rock group consisting of Takanori Nishikawa, also known as T.M.Revolution, on vocals, SUNAO, who was part of T.M.Revolution's support band, and Hiroshi Shibasaki of Wands fame, and also a member of T.M.Revolution's support band, on guitars, and Toshiyaki Kishi, who has previously played with artists such as Ryuichi Kawamura and Tomoyasu Hotei, on keyboards.
With the band being named after a real life all-male school in England, the members usually appear wearing school uniform styled clothing, Takanori sporting thick, black-rimmed glasses.
