auncia recently played two lives in Los Angeles and will release their first major single, KeyCase. After their overseas debut, auncia wants to keep in touch with all of their fans, and JaME has been given the opportunity to help them! We’ve decided to organize a haiku contest with Cure Media USA, and the two lucky winners selected will receive a prize package including a Beauty and Slime CD, an auncia Anime Expo T-shirt and an autographed group photo!

What is a Haiku?

A haiku is a form of Japanese poem that uses a 5-7-5 syllabic meter. For example:

New single Keycase
Sounds like explosions in sky
I see fireworks

Always smiling bright
Yosuke even smiles
Asking “you okay?”

The theme of your haiku should be “Connecting to auncia,” and the sky’s the limit in how you express yourself! Perhaps a certain song makes you cry or reminds you of a good time; perhaps you enjoy reading the members’ blogs; just tell us about how you connect with the band.

How to Join

To win one of the two exclusive prize packages, send an e-mail to contest@jame-networks.com and use “auncia haiku contest” as the subject.

The following information MUST be included in your e-mail:

- Use the subject "auncia haiku contest”
- Your given name, as stated on your legal ID.
- Your e-mail address.
- Your address (complete with zip code) and your country.
- Your haiku, which must be written in English.

Incomplete submissions will be rejected. The two winners will be selected by JaME and Cure Media USA.

Contest Rules

- Entry deadline is Monday, August 10.
- Prize package includes only one Beauty and Slime CD, one auncia T-shirt and one autographed photo.
- Prizes are NOT transferable and cannot be exchanged for money or other items.
- Limit to one entry per person, one haiku per entry.
- Submissions with false or incomplete information will be excluded from participation.
- All submissions must be in English.
