Billy to Return in 2012

Visual kei band Billy, who went on hiatus back in 2009, have now announced their return.

Shortly after they went on hiatus, the entire band restarted activities under the name Hana Shounen Baddies, but at the beginning of November they also decided to cease their live activities. It is now understood that the reason for this decision was so that the members to return to Billy.

On January 14th and 15th, the band will play at Ikebukuro Black Hole, marking their comeback as Billy. To solidify this, they are also set to release a new single on January 18th, titled Marigold, which will be available in three editions.

The regular version will contain only the title track and the B-side, while CD+DVD edition will come with the PV for Marigold. The third version, which was made especially for Tower Records, will offer a third song, which is set to be a new version of an older Billy song.

In addition to this, Hana Shounen Baddies will publish a self-cover album named Breed on the same day. This album will contain fifteen tracks, which will all be covers of Billy songs. It will be available in a CD-only edition as well as a CD+DVD edition, which features bonus footage.
