Visual band EAT YOU ALIVE, previously known as MaveRick, have announced the release an album for August 24th. Titled The world is mine, this is being considered as the band's first full-length album, as a counter feit heart and my true intentions MOSQUITO, released in 2006, came out under the band name MaveRick.
The album will contain 'retake' versions of eight previously recorded songs, amongst them the singles JENNIFER, ATROCITY AND BLUE, Coke in a vein, Missing you and Akatsuki. It will also feature four album versions of songs, including the band's most recent singles DARK IN THE NIGHT and THE REASON. These reworked versions will be joined by three brand-new songs for a total of fifteen tracks.
The world is mine will be released in two editions. The CD-only version will come with a 24-page booklet, while the CD+DVD version will comes with a 16-page booklet and a DVD featuring a PV and off-shot footage. This will be the band's first PV and it is assumed that it will be for a new song.
In addition to this release, EAT YOU ALIVE members are keeping themselves busy with individual 'solo projects'. Vocalist hiro has started a design project titled "Addict", which features work such as pictures, poems and videos, while guitarist ryohei has started a clothing line called "Honored Life".
