Kanon Wakeshima will team up with An Cafe’s kanon to form the new musical unit kanon×kanon in order to perform the new opening theme of the anime series "Shiki".

The pair, which is referred to by the press as a 2.5 dimensional musical unit, will release the single Calendula Requiem on November 17th. The single will feature, in addition to the title track, the B-sides The Dollhouse and Umigame Soup, as well as the intrumental version of Calendula Requiem. The limited edition will also include a DVD featuring the PV of the title track.
