Yamanaka Sawao Releases a Solo Album

Yamanaka Sawao, leading man of the ever-popular band the pillows, is having quite a busy year so far. Besides his releases with the pillows and his latest with THE PREDATORS, he will be releasing his first solo album titled Discharge on June 23rd.

For the album, Yamanaka worked with Kuhara Kazuyuki (The Birthday), Takahashi Hirotaka (Scars Borough), Fukuoka Akiko (CHATMONCHY) Yoko & Ayumi (noodles) and Suzuki Jun (the pillows support).

As with most Japanese releases, there will be two editions available: regular and limited. The limited edition will include a DVD that will contain the promotional videos for DAWN SPEECH, Music Creature and purple moonlight. It will also include a sticker.
