A new French label, Social Alienation, has surfaced to expose more Asian music to a larger fanbase. This new label, which had just been born this March aims to generate more awareness of independent Asian music, not only from Japan but also as far as Turkey, India and Malaysia.

This new label began their activities with the promotion of the indie band Puffyshoes, a group whose second album, Something Gold, and its accompanying DVD, will be released by Social Alienation. This label is also currently distributing the second album by the band eseroman, titled elenpywo.
