Updates on Tortoise Matsumoto's Single

Tortoise Matsumoto, vocalist of rock band ULFULS, has made a few changes to his upcoming single, due out on February 10th.

As previously reported, the single was going to be called Straight. However, it will now go on sale as a double A-side single titled Straight / Porch Light. No changes have been made to the tie-in, though, as Straight is still scheduled to go on air as the theme song of Fuji TV's drama "Massugu na otoko" starting on January 12th.

Porch Light, on the other hand, has been chosen as the rooting song of "Kanpei Earth Marathon", which is a marathon run by Japanese comedian and ultra marathon runner Kanpei Hazama, who set off from Osaka to run around the world in December 2009.

Tortoise has also revealed that the single will come out in two types, with one in the CD+DVD format. This DVD will feature six songs from his concert at Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall on October 26th, part of his first solo tour named FIRST TOUR 2009, with a total of approximately 40 minutes. The CD-only version will instead include the instrumental counterparts of both title tracks.
